# Event types

> Supported webhook event types and their payloads

Ordinal sends webhook notifications when events occur in your workspace. Every payload uses this structure:

* **type** – Event type (e.g. `post.published`)
* **data** – Event-specific payload; see each event page for the schema
* **createdAt** – ISO 8601 timestamp when the event was emitted

## Social Profile

Events for connected social accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.):

| [`social_profile.reconnect_needed`](https://ordinal.mintlify.site/integrations/webhooks/social-profile-reconnect-needed) | A profile needs reconnecting (e.g. token expired) |

Events for post lifecycle and content changes:

| [`post.inline_comment.created`](https://ordinal.mintlify.site/integrations/webhooks/post-inline-comment-created) | An inline comment (text-anchored) is added to a post. One event per comment, including replies in a thread. |

Events for post and campaign approval workflows:

## Invites

Events for workspace invitations:

| [`invite.created`](https://ordinal.mintlify.site/integrations/webhooks/invite-created) | A user is invited to the workspace. If the invitee already has an account, they are added directly and no email is sent. |
| [`invite.accepted`](https://ordinal.mintlify.site/integrations/webhooks/invite-accepted) | A user accepts a workspace invite |
